If you are choosing between online men's hormone programs, Hone Health is likely on your shortlist alongside Vitality Modern Medicine. Rather than asserting that one is better, this article sets out the categories that actually distinguish these programs so you can compare them on the details that affect your care and your bill.

Comparison pending verification

We will not publish competitor pricing or program inclusions we have not verified directly. Hone Health's current price, lab cadence, medication inclusions, and provider model should be confirmed on their own website at the time of publication and re-checked periodically, because these offerings change.

What to compare, category by category

  • Monthly price, and exactly what it covers
  • Whether prescribed medication and shipping are included
  • Which laboratory panel is included and how often it repeats
  • Whether lab review happens with a provider
  • Follow-up visits, dose adjustments, and refill management
  • Whether non-testosterone pathways can be considered
  • How you reach your provider between visits

Where Vitality stands on each

Men's and women's online hormone care have the same prices: Using insurance for labs: $299 initial evaluation · $99/month ongoing care. No insurance? Choose labs-included care: $399 initial evaluation + core labs · $149/month ongoing care. Clinical fees are direct-pay. Insurance-pathway lab charges are billed separately by Quest or Labcorp depending on coverage. The cash-pay pathway includes the initial core panel and, during ongoing care, one routine core monitoring panel every four months. Medications are paid separately at the pharmacy. Ongoing monthly management is offered after consultation with explicit consent, and monthly billing begins one month after enrollment. Expanded testing is priced separately and disclosed before agreement.

Some recommended prescriptions are available only through a compounding pharmacy, not a commercial retail pharmacy. Compounded testosterone-support prescriptions such as enclomiphene cost extra and are not covered by insurance under this program. HSA reimbursement may be available for eligible prescribed expenses; confirm eligibility and documentation requirements with your HSA administrator. Reimbursement is not guaranteed. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved as finished products.

Pathways: Testosterone Optimization, and Elevate-T — a fertility-conscious, non-testosterone option for appropriate patients.

Monitoring labs are followed by a telehealth review every four months; additional testing is priced separately when needed.

The question underneath the comparison

Are you buying a prescription, or ongoing medical management? Programs differ most in what happens after month one — monitoring, lab review, and whether the plan is adjusted as your results come in.

Enrolling in a program is not a guarantee of any prescription. Treatment is prescribed only when a Vitality provider determines it is medically appropriate.
