Online Men's Hormone Clinics Compared: What Should Actually Be Included in Your Monthly Price?

Online men's hormone care has grown quickly, and the programs on offer are genuinely different from one another — not just in price, but in what a provider actually does for you after you have paid. This is a checklist you can take to any program, including ours.

1. Is there a real clinical evaluation?

A questionnaire that automatically approves everyone is not an evaluation. Ask whether a licensed provider reviews your intake and your labs, and whether treatment can be declined if it is not appropriate. It should be able to be.

2. Are labs included, and how often?

Laboratory monitoring is one of the larger recurring costs in hormone care and one of the most commonly excluded items. Ask what panel is included, at what interval, and what happens when your provider wants to recheck something sooner.

3. Is medication included?

Some programs quote a membership fee and bill medication and shipping separately. Others include them. Neither is wrong, but you need to know which you are looking at before comparing monthly figures.

4. What does ongoing care look like?

  • Follow-up visits — included, or charged per visit?
  • Lab review with a provider, or results delivered without interpretation?
  • Dose and treatment adjustments as part of the program
  • Refill coordination
  • A way to message your provider between visits

5. Are there options if one pathway is not right for you?

Not every man should start exogenous testosterone. A program that only offers one treatment has only one answer. Ask whether non-testosterone pathways can be considered when they are clinically more appropriate.

How Vitality answers the checklist

Men's and women's online hormone care have the same prices: Using insurance for labs: $299 initial evaluation · $99/month ongoing care. No insurance? Choose labs-included care: $399 initial evaluation + core labs · $149/month ongoing care. Clinical fees are direct-pay. Insurance-pathway lab charges are billed separately by Quest or Labcorp depending on coverage. The cash-pay pathway includes the initial core panel and, during ongoing care, one routine core monitoring panel every four months. Medications are paid separately at the pharmacy. Ongoing monthly management is offered after consultation with explicit consent, and monthly billing begins one month after enrollment. Expanded testing is priced separately and disclosed before agreement.

Some recommended prescriptions are available only through a compounding pharmacy, not a commercial retail pharmacy. Compounded testosterone-support prescriptions such as enclomiphene cost extra and are not covered by insurance under this program. HSA reimbursement may be available for eligible prescribed expenses; confirm eligibility and documentation requirements with your HSA administrator. Reimbursement is not guaranteed. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved as finished products.

Enrolling in a program is not a guarantee of any prescription. Treatment is prescribed only when a Vitality provider determines it is medically appropriate.
