What Online Hormone Care Actually Looks Like, Step by Step

Online hormone care should feel like care, not like ordering a product. The convenience is real — no commute, no waiting room — but the clinical steps matter just as much as they do in person. Here is how the process works at Vitality, in the order it actually happens.
1. Enroll and complete your intake
You choose your payment pathway and complete enrollment, then fill out a detailed clinical intake and consent forms through a secure, HIPAA-compliant patient portal. This covers your symptoms, history, medications, and goals — the same ground an in-person first visit would cover, at your own pace.
2. Complete your labs
After provider review of your intake, you receive lab orders and instructions. Depending on your pathway, labs are billed to your insurance or included in your enrollment. You complete them at a local lab before any visit is scheduled.
3. Meet your provider
Once your results are in, our care team calls you to schedule your telehealth visit with Corinne Curran, FNP-C. You review your results together in plain language, talk through your symptoms and goals, and discuss whether treatment is appropriate — and if so, what your options are.
4. Start your plan, if appropriate
If treatment is prescribed, prescriptions go to your preferred pharmacy or an appropriate compounding pharmacy, and you pay the pharmacy directly. Your plan is written down and explained — you know what's happening and why.
Enrolling in a program is not a guarantee of any prescription. Treatment is prescribed only when a Vitality provider determines it is medically appropriate.
5. Ongoing care, on a schedule
Ongoing care includes prescription management, adjustments when appropriate, secure messaging with your care team, and monitoring labs followed by a telehealth review every four months. Care that disappears after the first prescription isn't care — it's a transaction.
Where online care is available
Vitality's online programs are currently available to patients in California, Colorado, Nevada, and Arizona. If you live elsewhere, online enrollment isn't available yet — eligibility is confirmed before payment, not after.
